Chloe and Steve were married at the Georgian Hotel in Haslemere, Hampshire. To say that all weddings are unique is an understatement for Chloe and Steve, they absolutely did it their way. Chloe’s dad explained during his speech the reasons behind Chloe’s love of skulls, skeletons and black, it was a childhood watching Dracula! From skull jewellery, shoes, ring box (see below!), cufflinks, wine glass – Chloe made her impression on a wonderfully unique day.
Yesterday took me back to Greyfriars for the wedding of Sue and Dan. Last time I was at Greyfriars we were just coming out of winter and the weather was temporamental, but yesterday the sun shone all day and we were able to make full use of the venue for photographs – one thing I love about this venue is the endless possibilities for great shots – inside and out! One of my favourite places for photographs is not an obvious one and is slightly behind the scenes – upstairs there is a long dark, atmospheric corridor with rustic wooden floorboards and a window at one end that throws in the most amazing bright light creating fantastic sillouettes. I’ve indulged myself and posted three of these shots below.

Oxford is one of England’s most beautiful cities and one of my favourite, though I am slightly biased as I grew up there! It was great to return to meet Clare and Guy for their pre-wedding shoot, they’re getting married at The Crazy Bear near Oxford in August. The wedding day is going to be unique involving a special venue, uniforms, swords, helicopter pilots and a big red bus – it’s going to be a photographic feast! At this time of year Oxford is jammed with tourists so we had an 8am start to beat the masses, great commitment from Clare and Guy who were paryting at a ball until 2am the morning of the shoot! It didn’t show as they look fantastic in the images below…
